SUBJECT
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a License and Indemnity Agreement with E. Ritter Communications Holdings, LLC to place improvements on City owned property at 202 N Kingshighway.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
E. Ritter Communications Holdings, LLC has requested to place fiber optic cable on City owned property at 202 N Kingshighway to provide high speed telecommunications services to the surrounding area.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
This agreement will allow E. Ritter Communications Holdings, LLC to install Placement of approximately Two Hundred Feet (200’) of fiber optic cable and facilities on City of Cape Girardeau property in the grassy area along the East side of the concrete drainage ditch located just East of Kingshighway and North of Themis Street.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends authorizing the City Manager to execute the attached License and Indemnity Agreement with E. Ritter Communications Holdings, LLC.
