An Ordinance accepting a General Warranty Deed from Cornerstone Church of Cape Girardeau, INC., owners of the remainder of Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Block 1 of Brink’s Second Subdivision, Cape Girardeau, Missouri.


EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The attached ordinance accepts a General Warranty Deed from Cornerstone Church of Cape Girardeau, INC., owners of the remainder of Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Block 1 of Brink’s Second Subdivision, for construction of a cul-de-sac at the end of 

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The property located at the southwest corner of Brink Avenue and Minnesota Avenue is being purchased to construct a cul-de-sac on the east end of Brink Avenue as part of the Minnesota Avenue / Route 74 Intersection Improvements.  A General Warranty Deed has been prepared for this purpose and is attached.

 



FINANCIAL IMPACT

The City will pay $10,665 for the property along with the title work and the recording fee.



STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the ordinance accepting a General Warranty Deed from Cornerstone Church of Cape Girardeau, INC., owners of the remainder of Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Block 1 of Brink’s Second Subdivision, Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
