Brief Summary of Code Changes During Recodification Project
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Our Code of Ordinances had not been updated since 1990. Our office started the process of recodification, and a legal review of our current Code of Ordinances, on October 30, 2020. I had hoped the process would be complete prior to the end of the year, but the Municipal Corporation has informed me it will be mid-January before we adopt our newly reformed code. Since I am retiring at the end of the year, I wanted to provide everyone with a Summary of Code Changes that we did during the Recodification Project.
