Motion to accept the improvements constructed as part of the Cypress Road Watermain Extension.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Constructed public improvements include:
8" C900 PVC Water Main 3,399 LF
Fire Hydrant Assembly 5 EA
6" Gate Valve 6 EA
8" Gate Valve 2 EA
Valve box w/lid 8 EA
These improvements were inspected by City Staff and were completed generally in accordance with the approved plans.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
This project consisted of the construction/installation of a water main along Cypress Road and Perryville Road. Nip Kelley Equipment Company, Inc. has agreed to construct the water main and the City agreed to be responsible for the total cost of the materials. The City designed the project in-house. Once accepted into the City system, the City will pay for routine maintenance and, if necessary, any repairs.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Council accept, by motion, the improvements constructed as part of the Cypress Road Watermain Extension into the City System.
