Addendum to the Professional Service Agreement with Alliance Water Resources, Inc.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The City and Alliance Water Resources entered into a Professional Service Agreement on March 14, 2007, for operation and maintenance service for the City’s water supply and distribution systems. Addenda to the Agreement were approved in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2022.
The attached Resolution allows Alliance Water Services to continue operating the City's Water Department and changes the responsibility of vehicle insurance from Alliance to the City effective July 1, 2022. The vehicle insurance responsibility has varied between the City and Alliance over the years. The City recently went out to bid for new insurance and, as a result of that process, the vehicle insurance will once again be the City's responsibility.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council approve the attached Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute the Eighth Addendum to Agreement with Alliance Water Resources to change the responsibility of vehicle insurance from Alliance to the City effective July 1, 2022.
