One appointment to the Public Library Board of Directors for a term set to expire June 30, 2025.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Mr. John Voss resigned from the Public Library Board of Trustees effective January 2, 2023, leaving a vacancy for a term set to expire June 30, 2025. A copy of the board roster is attached for your review.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Appointments to the Public Library Board are made by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. The following individuals have expressed an interest in serving on the board, and their board applications are attached.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
It is recommended that one appointment be made to the Public Library Board of Directors for a term set to expire June 30, 2025.
BOARD OR COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION
The Public Library Board of Trustees at its December 7, 2022, board meeting made a recommendation to appoint Ed Thompson to serve John Voss's unexpired term.
